On Saturday, August 17th, one of our members, Gary Brunk and his wife took their 1982 Zimmer to the
Elks Lodge in Broken Arrow. They came home with a 2nd place in special interest. A job well done. CONGRATULATIONS

On Saturday, October 6th, some of our members went to Mounds to their annual car show. I have never been
to a car show where we had to deal with sleet on the cars. It happened not once but 3 times during the show. All of us that
went to the show finally braved through the weather. Our winners at this show were:

held out at the lake, which made it very nice. There were over 200 cars at this show. Even though it was real cloudy and looked

Here we are into a new year of car shows. We are proud to say we had a new club member take his car
to the Darrell Starbird show and won trophy for best Custom Mild 70's & up. Our proud winner is Raymond Kreps with his

On Saturday, October 22nd, some of our members went to Wilburton, Oklahoma for the 25th annual fall Foliage
Cruise at Robbers Cave. This was a huge car show with about 500 cars present. It is very special to be able to win at this
show. We are proud to announce that we had 2 winners out of our club.

On August 18-20 there was a huge car show in Branson, Mo. One of our members went down there for the annual
show. That member was Bill Nevels and he brought home the 2nd runner-up trophy for Best Of Show. I hear he won money

On Saturday, July 23rd, one of our members braved the heat and went to Miami for a car show. Karl &
Kathy Soliday took their '57 Nomad. They won a trophy for "Best Oklahoma Car". Congratulations

On Saturday, June 18th, some of our members went to the 9th annual car show at Carbondale Assembly Church
in Tulsa. This is usually a very big car show. There was free entertainment and food. Some of our members won at this show.
James Titus won Best of Show & Jim Hunter won Fireman's flame pick. Good job guys.
At the end of the show thay had a drawing for a 37" HDTV and Jim Hunter also won this. What a surprise !!!!!!!!

On Saturday, June 11th , Kellyville had their annual event downtown in which one of the attractions
was a car show. One of our members brought home a trophy for 1st place in his class. Our winner was Floyd McCann &

On Memorial day week-end some of our members made the annual trip to Springfield. This is a very big car
show with a lot of cars entered. It is very hard to win at this show but we are glad to say that we had one winner. Eldon

Sapulpa. There were over 250 cars that entered this car show. It was held on Dewey Street which is part of the original Route

He has a '68 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser that he put in the original class and won 1st place. He also has a '47 Plymouth coupe
